It's Been A While

I have been M.I.A. as of late in this blogosphere world.  And I never really was Johnny on the spot with posts, I suppose I wasn't really into it.  It was a great idea at the time, and I've enjoyed all of my time getting to know everyone's blogs very well.  Though I am a perpetual lurker, I hope to change that.  As well as my whole blogging overview.

Why the change, you ask?  Let me tell you in nice summed up version of our last 4+ months.

When I last posted, we were awaiting our follow-up appointment with Dr. M.  That was cancelled (and I don't remember why now, timing or money, something...but there were talks of a re-schedule).  The re-schedule never happend.  What did happen was lots and lots of life!  A mother-in-law moving in, a move to a new house (in town), mismatched personalities, hurt feelings from the past, a mother-in-law moving out, and anohter move...across the country :)

That's right folks!  I now live in Kentucky!!  ...the complete and opposite side of our comfort zone known as Oregon (where both SS and I were born and raised).  It was the craziest, scariest, most fun of a move we've ever made.  And there's no better feeling that seeing the shine in SS's eyes when he talks about completing one of his dreams.  To pack up and move across country with all things that can fit in a Subaru.  We found our Suby Ruby a while back, and with a few minor tucks and pulls here and there, we turned her into a traveling beast ready to tackle the climb of the Colorado Rockies.
We took 3 weeks, travelled across 13 states and found ourselves here in Kentucky just now getting settled into our 'launch pad' home (because who wants to live in a hotel with 3 dogs? haha).

It's amazing over here, and as soon as we get all of the household in order (we did only bring what would fit in the Subaru), I hope to get some pictures of the trip and our new home up.

So far, here's our route.  Thankfully, SS did most of the driving, and our fur-children were all GREAT travelers.

Thanks to all of those stoppers by and followers.  I am still out here and reading your blogs :)
